Over The Rainbow Bridge...
Rest in peace; we all miss you Quatro!
Our 4 Eared "Official Hospital Greeter"
Quatro was only a few weeks old when she was brought into our office by a client who had found her in the street, not too far from our hospital. Poor little Quatro was in very serious condition; she was malnourished, had a terrible upper respiratory infection, and very infected eyes.
With her strong spirit and sweet demeanor, this unique little girl clearly wanted to live.
Quatro was especially unique due to the fact that she has 4 ears!
Test after test showed that she had nothing life threatening, but because she had frequent problems from birth defects, we decided to keep her here at the clinic where we knew she would get the love and medical attention she needed and deserved.
Six years later she is still with us and doing great. She roams the hospital, has multiple beds, toys, and free reign. She loves all animals and people and has been known to come out in the waiting room to greet our clients, and even sit in their lap.
Quatro is definitely one of a kind, and we love her dearly. She is not only a part of our staff as our official greeter, but a part of our Cupertino Animal Hospital Family.
Quatro's Joke Corner
The Little Turtle
Deep within a forest a little turtle began to climb a tree.
After hours of effort, he reached the to, jumped into the air waving his front legs, and crashed to the ground.
After recovering, he slowly climbed the tree again, jumped, and fell to the ground.
The little turtle tried again and again, while a couple of birds sitting on a branch watched his sad efforts.
Finally, the female bird turned to her mate.
"Dear," she chirped, "I think it's time to tell him he's adopted."
